Once a week class 

Location : Pine Lake Communtiy Club , Sammamish

Students will learn the basics of robotics using Lego Spike  Robotics kit and the doing lessons / activities. These activities are designed to teach them how to move and control the EV3 robot. They will first start with setting up the brick( basic robot)  and then learn about movements by programming how to control the motors and then and move on to learn how to program various sensors (touch sensor, color sensor, infra-red, gyro etc.) to perform certain activity. The activities will get harder as you move through them. The activities will teach them how to operate the software, brick, motors, and sensors. 

After they have done all the activities, they will be ready to do projects where they will use motors and various sensors to meet the challenge. 

Robotics classes are on going from one session to other moving up the difficulty level. The above activities are covered in 8 -10  classes depending on the pace of the class. This program runs year long with the course content divided into 3 sessions. 

In next level ( after the basics are strong)  focus is more on projects which will prepare them for completions ( Like First Robotics). The instructor will mentor them on competition participation. team building  and tips. TSK doesn't take the students to competition but can mentor a pre formed team ( POD) who wants to compete. Ask us about it. 

The basics learned will be foundation to any robotics kit as they move in higher grade

Kits are provided in class wich is shared between 2-3 kids. Students can get thier own kids too.
